This layout is from my 40th Birthday Party. My most amazing best friends threw me a fabulous party. Shannon bought me a selfie stick and my 40th quickly became a "selfie party". So much fun!
I played along with C.S.I. Case File No. 186.
I thought these papers from BoBunny and embellishments from Teresa Collins matched the color scheme beautifully.
The evidence used: bricks (I used a stencil and embossing paste to add textured bricks), vertical stripes, wood/woodgrain (#40), stars (rub-ons), hang elements (banners), burlap (on the tags), frames (tags), die-cuts (tags).
My testimony: I hung my journaling tag from string at the top of the page.
I used the 1-1-16 Sketch from Let's Scrap, it seemed to fit my layout well. I also added a little flip book on the right side with extra photos.
I also played along with More Than Words January Main Challenge: Personality and Selfie.
These photos were from my "selfie party." For my 40th birthday, my friend Shannon bought me my first selfie stick. We had a blast taking selfie photos. These photos represent my personality in its entirety. With friends and family around, celebrating such a milestone; I was happy as a clam! Family and friends are the MOST important thing to me! This was the perfect challenge to document my most memorable event.
