Project Life - Week 38

Welcome to Project Life 2015! If you are new to my blog, welcome! I hope you will stay a while. I'm Jessica, wife to Juan, mommy to 4 year old Maddie. I am also an electrical engineer by day and I am participating in Project Life, a different way to record our lives by taking one photo a day. This was inspired by the fabulous Becky Higgins.

I am using a digital kit on Shutterfly. This digital version is SUPER easy to use! See my completed pages for 2012 using the Shutterfly - Project Life Turquoise Edition HERE and my 2013 album using the Shutterfly - Project Life Childhood - Mayfield Edition HERE I will hopefully be posting my 2014 pages soon.

And finally, my POTW (pictures of the week) -

Thursday - Another week full of Soccer! At practice tonight, Coach Juan tried to get the girls to again toss the ball in the air, clap, and then catch the ball. They were struggling with the toss and catch - the clap was simply impossible. Then he threw the ball in the air and had them run to get it. It was supposed to be a team building exercise where all the girls run up to the ball, but instead it was just about who got to it first and then kicked it on. The girls really enjoyed racing each other. They are getting a little better at controlling the ball as well.

Saturday - Today we played the Unicorns. These girls had no idea what they were in for. We all played on one field, which was definitely better. Our girls were ROUGH to say the least. There was a lot of pushing and shirt pulling - even between our own team, as you can see in the pictures. At one point, Maddie tackled a little girl from the other team and we had to pull her out. She did score a lot of goals today, although at least half of them were on our own goal.

Sunday - Springcreek Church celebrated its 25th Anniversary today. They had tamales and cupcakes for all of the parishioners. After church, we headed to Six Flags to use our Season Passes. Maddie rode a few of her favorite rides and we watched her play in the huge play area. We only stayed for a couple of hours, great for a Sunday afternoon.

Thanks for visiting!
