New Layout - Family Time

Hello all my scrappy friends,

Monday is over!!!!!! I definitely had a case of the "Mondays" today...... who am I kidding - that happens EVERY Monday!  I finished a layout last night of COVID game night. We've been having  a LOT of game nights around our house the last few months. This layout was a perfect way to document them.

I played along with Paper Issues - September challenge "In Reel Time". Nothing says real time like night after night of Family Game nights during quarantine! I used a kit from Carta Bella - Family Fun Night series and added epoxy dots, stickers from Carta Bella, and Thickers from CTMH.

New Layout - Time for your Checkup

Happy Saturday all my scrappy friends,

We had a week of fun Girl Scout spirit week activities. Today is the last day ending with a 6 hour Camp In, Camp Life event. We spent the morning setting up a tent, preparing food, and getting ready for a lot of fun!

I did manage to finally finish the layout sitting on my desk the past 4 days.  This is of DD's recent 9 year well baby exam, complete with masks and flu shots!

I played along with Paper Issues September challenge - An Apple a Day. What's better than a doctor visit? LOL

I used a kit from Out on a Limb and added lots of dots and dashes and a journaling block from Crate Paper.

New Layout - Science

Another week is almost over, once again!

After an full day of back to back meetings, I finally got a couple of hours this evening to scrap! I finished this science layout of DD just a few months ago working on her Science Experiment kit. She loves science. She got it from her brother last year, but hadn't opened it.....well nothing like "Quarantine" to help you finish up unopened projects!

I played along with Paper Issues September challenge "It's Not Rocket Science"

I used a kit from Nellie's Scrapbook kits and added some journaling blocks from Basic Grey.

New Layout - Our New Way of Life

PTO me again,

I didn't get a lot accomplished today, does that happen to anyone else?  But, I did finish one more layout.

More recent photos - these of Maddie's first day of Virtual 3rd Grade and our Home School setup for her. I played along with Paper Issues September challenge "Head of the Class." The title worked perfect for this.

I used a kit from Nellie's Scrapbook Kits using the PhotoPlay line. I also used stamps and ink from CTMH.

Thanks for visiting me!

New Layout - Puzzling

Happy Rain day,

It's raining here in Dallas, but thankfully not storming like so many other places.

Here is a layout I completed today of one of our favorite "Quarentine" past times. I played along with Paper Issues September challenge "In Reel Time". This is definitely something we are doing right now!

For this layout I used a kit from Out on a Limb and added journaling blocks from Recollections, stamps from CTMH and PhotoPlay, and lots of dots/dashes.

New Layout - Living the Quarantine Life

Happy Tuesday Yall,

I'm taking the day off to scrap!

This is a layout of all the quarentine things that are different now in our day to day lives.  I played along with Paper Issues September challenge - 52 favorites.  I very rarely scrapbook recent events, as I am so far behind, so this challenge helped me get What Life Looks Like TODAY completed.

For this layout I used a kit from Paper Wizard. and added a journaling block from CTMH, and stamps from Heidi Swapp, CTMH, and PhotoPlay.

New Layout - Think Instant Home School

Happy Saturday,

I've been prepping for dear daughter's birthday party tomorrow. We usually go all out with lots of guests, but this year looks very different. We are having a small zoom party with a couple of friends virtually and a small family event here at the house with just her brother and my mom. She's having a sewing party and is super excited for it.  I did get to play a little this evening and created this layout of home schooling at the end of last year. It was such a unique experience.

I played along with Paper Issues September challenge Head of the Class for all the school related pages.

I used a fun kit from The Whole Kit N Kaboodle. This was the first kit I used from them and I'm happy to say I will be purchasing more!

Materials used: paper from AdornIt, a tag from docrafts, misc. washi tape from my stash, a tag from Cheer & Co., ephemera from park lane paperie, and epoxy hearts from Eyelet Outlet.

DD starts F2F school tomorrow, so wish us luck!

New Layout - Humpty Dumpty Story

Happy Saturday,

I am sharing a layout of DD's humpty dumpty story. She would sit on the back edge of the tub and say "Humpty dumpty sat on the wall," and then she'd slide down the back of the tub and say, "humpty dumpty had a great fall!" She went into our bathroom by herself and decided to climb into our tub to play "humpty dumpty." Instead of sliding, she fell and hit her eye on the corner tile. We didn't know at the time, but it would leave a permanent scar next to her left eye.

I played along with Paper Issues Sept challenge - This or That. I used 3 circles, twine, clouds, word strips, the word "love", camera, and a metal heart pin.

I used paper from Making Memories, humpty dumpty image from cricut, journaling block from Making Memories, ouch block from Scrapbook Customs, chipboard banner/cameras/words/buttons from Teresa Collins, misc alpha stickers from my stash, twine from The Twinery, bandaid stickers from jolee's, arrow stitching from Crate Paper, and heart pin from LYB.
