New Layout - I Love Soccer

Another new layout with some very old photos - still trying to finish up 2016.... I really am almost done.  Look how little DD was almost 4 years ago.  This was the 2nd season they played soccer and they were still just a clump of girls chasing a ball around the field. There was always at least 1 girl on the sideline crying; oh how far they've come!

I played along with Scrap with Stacy - February Scrappy Friends challenge. I used the tic tac toe challenge by the 1st row: Stickers, Dots, and Hearts.   I used a background of dot paper, little die cut hearts from cardstock, and stickers for the title, the & sign, the word stickers, and the date arrow. Swing by Scrap with Stacy to play along!

To create this page, I used a kit from Go To Treasure Box and added a few embellishment and tweaks of my own to work with my photos! Thanks for stopping by.

New Layout - Joy and Cheer

Yet another layout complete! This one is of our family this past year at our annual Christmas card photo shoot! These two are my world.

I played along with Paper Issues February challenge - Eye Candy.  I used all sorts of glitter enamel dots, glitter ribbon, glitter words, and glitter stickers as "eye candy". I also have to admit that this little girl is the apple of my eye al by herself!

I used CTMH Silver and Gold kit for this layout.  Thanks for visiting!

New Layout - Ghouls Night Out

It's me again! I told you I was catching up on posting my layouts.  This layout cracks me up as my DD was adament that she wanted to be a Dementor for Halloween this year. She also was adament that we needed to have professional photos taken of it. I told her that seemed odd since it was a costume in all black where her entire face was covered, but she didn't care, "We ALWAYS take photos of my Halloween costume!"  Well, here they are!

I played along with Paper Issues February challenge - You've Been Framed. I used double matting on every photo as a frame along with photo corners as well. even the title is "framed" in cardstock. Head over to check out their fun challenges!

I used an awesome kit from Paper Wizard and added a few of my own embellishments and adjusted for my photos!

New Layout - Santa 2016

Yes, I am still wrapping up my 2016 album! :)  Dear Daughter's 2016 trip to see Santa - she was just 5 years old in these photos. Love this Santa.

I played along with Paper Issues February Challenge - the Name Game.  I used:
* J - journaling card
* E - enamel dots
* S - stickers
* S - sparkle chipboard, stripes, and Santa
* I - ink on the journaling
* C - cardstock and CTMH supplies
* A - alphas and adhesive

They have lots of fun challenges this month, stop by and play along!

Have a wonderful Sunday - and if you are in Dallas - stay dry!

New Layout - Harry Potter 8th Bday

Happy Sunday! Crazy week around here, but I did a little bit of scrapping. Dear Daughter's 8th birthday was a Harry Potter party. She was adament that the invitations (and everything else) be extremely accurate. I've included the invitation and the Platform 9-3/4 tickets we included in the invitations - that were delivered by OWL! Yes, we individually delivered each and every invitation! We made everything for the party, including the train and the robes/scarves for all attendees. Thanks to Nana, who sewed all the outfits!

I played along with CSI Case File #309 for this layout. I was inspired by the birdcage as it immediately made me think of these pictures. I didn't use the color scheme, but I mimic'ed the black throughout. For my "evidence" I used tone on tone and had gold throughout. I used stripes on the edge of the journaling block, and my photos included a bird cage and owl balloons. Finally, I used negative space with a cutout file for the harry potter verbiage and harry potter head on the right as well as white rub-ons. For the "testimony" I used my journaling as a big title - in fact, the journaling is my invitation and takes the place of a title/along with the platform ticket and envelope. Head over to CSI and play along!

Thanks for visiting!

New Layout - Christmas 2016

Happy Sunday, I hope you had a wonderful weekend. I did a bit of scrapping today, even with the 78 degree beautiful weather! I'm trying to finish up the last few layouts of 2016.  These are our family pics for our Christmas card that year.

I played along with CSI Case File 310.  I used the color scheme - black, white, red, light gray and dark gray. For evidence, I used: stripes in the strips of paper, banners by hanging my tags along the top, string tied to the circles, silver elements in my title, and word/phrase stickers. For the testimony, I documented someone I love and used the inspiration word "love".

I also played along with Paper Issues February challenge, "Sweet Talk".  This layout is all about my Sweet Loves - my hubby and DD!  Come play along!

I used a kit from Embellish It! and modified it to work with my photos. Paper and tags by Bella Blvd, Brads and chipboard pieces by Echo Park, and Thickers.

New Layout - Preschool Class Photo

Happy Saturday! I've been scrapping away this evening while binging on Netflix. This is a layout of DD from her Pre-K (4's) class.  She looked so much older than 4 in these photos, of course she was almost 5.

I played along with Paper Issues "Take 5" challenge for February. I used stars in the background paper, gold, doodling around all the flags and numbers, stitching in the notebook stickers, and stickers.

I used a page kit from gototreasurebox.com, die cut from Paper Wizard, and skitckers from Jolee's.  Thanks for visiting! Happy crafting!
