Project Life - Week 20

Welcome to Project Life 2014! If you are new to my blog, welcome! I hope you will stay a while. I'm Jessica, wife to Juan, mommy to 2 year old Maddie. I am also an electrical engineer by day and I am participating in Project Life, a different way to record our lives by taking one photo a day. This was inspired by the fabulous Becky Higgins who has put together a wonderful kit to make this challenge easier.

I am using the digital kit on shutterfly. This digital version is SUPER easy to use! See my completed pages for 2012 using the Shutterfly Cobalt kit HERE. I will hopefully be posting my 2013 pages soon.

And finally, my POTW (pictures of the week) -

Friday - Maddie had fun covering Daddy with bubbles from her bubble gun this afternoon. He finally got up and ran from her.

Saturday - Today we went with Mrs. Sarah and baby Ian to the Dallas Zoo. Both Maddie and Ian had a great time in the kids area petting the goats, playing in the river, playing on the playground, and feeding the fish. The mandrill had a baby and was showing him to Maddie through the window.

Sunday - Maddie's current sayings:
"What's goin on here guys?"

"We forgot to pray!"
"How did Maddie do that?"
"Silly Maddie, silly Daddy, silly Mama!"
"I want an orange, wanna watch Dora."
"Where'd Daddy go."
"I need my flashlight."
"Ooooooopie heheehee."
"Go bye-bye."
"What's that sound."
"Poor doggies, they're cold brrrrrrr."
"Amen, we eat!"
"Do you want to play with me?"
"Do you hear that mama?"

"Whatcha got for me in there?"
"Thank you mommy thank you."
"Bless you, de nada."
"I can help you? I need my stool."

Monday - Daddy grilled a wonderful burgers and hotdogs for us this evening. It was a beautiful afternoon and the Blue Moon went down great. Maddie also tried to put on Daddy's shirt by herself. We also played hide and seek this afternoon - yes that is Maddie's idea of hiding. She has her head hidden under her music stand.

Tuesday - Today is Maddie's last day of school. She absolutely loves Mrs. Lisa and Mrs. Jackie. She loves school and will be very sad to be home for the summer. They had early release this afternoon so Daddy picked her up and took her downtown to Clyde Warren Park. She didn't have a bathing suit, so apparently Daddy let her strip off her shirt to play in the water. I love the action shot of her jumping. She LOVES to jump!
