Splash - New Layout LOAD #8 & 9

Hump day! This week is so busy and just flying by! I finished another layout for the LOAD (Lay Out A Day) over at Let's Scrap. This is #8 & 9, Maddie at the Spray Park this summer.

I used a sketch from Simple Sketches #19 - I stretched the sketch to include all million photos that I wanted to include!

For the left side, I played along with My Scraps & More - Free For All Friday 1-3-14. The challenge is to use three different fonts somewhere on your layout. I used five different fonts, the date, the cursive, the block "TODAY", the tag "cool!", and the sticker 'awesome'. I love the MME - Cut & Paste line and how the journaling blocks mix different fonts. Perfect for this challenge.

For the right side, I played along with My Scraps & More - Mix it Up Monday - 1-6-14. The challenge is to use A graphic geometric print (think stripes, chevron, polka dots....something made up of recognizable shapes) and An organic print (flowers, splatters, even doilies). I used stripes and spatters/splash bubbles.

Materials used - Paper - MME, CTMH, Creative Memories & unknown; journaling spot - October Afternoon; journaling block - MME & CTMH; circle cutter - Creative Memories; splash title - Jolee's; stickers - MME.

Thanks for visiting!
