Hello! We had a playdate, two birthday parties, and a million errands to run today. Tomorrow is yet another birthday party, and I am exhausted. Somehow in between all of this I finished this layout of Maddie in her sandbox.
I created this layout using the Sketches4All - August "Summertime Anything Goes" challenge. I am Guest Designing over at Sketches4All this month, so I wanted to play along with this great challenge. The challenge is simple, create a project using the "Summertime Anything Goes" theme and use the sketch below:
I am also linking up with Paper Issues - Um Wow Chipboard challenge. I used a CTMH chipboard arrow, chipboard Thickers, and K&Company chipboard letters.
For my title, I used the word "Play" in "playing in the sand" for the Colorful Creations - August Song Challenge. This month the challenge is to use a word(s) from "Private Eyes" by Hall & Oates.
Finally, I played along with Scrap Our Stash - Stash Challenge #6 Summertime. This challenge is to create a Summer themed layout and you MUST include (3) or more pre-made Die-Cut embellishments from your stash! I used a lot of different die-cuts on this page including the large view finder for journaling, the details piece, the canvas cloud, the little star that I added a pop-dot to, the red file tab at the bottom, and the cork shape piece next to the fence.
Here are a couple of close-up photos:
Materials Used: paper - Simple Stories; ribbon - Michaels and unknown; chipboard arrow - CTMH; border punch - Fiskars; Canvas shape - LYB; corkboard shape - LYB; stickers - Simple Stories, Jolee's; chipboard alphas - Thickers and K&Company; canvas alphas - Deja' View; cricut - George & Basic Shapes; view finder die-cut - Studio Calico.
Thanks for visiting!

Your gorgeous layout reminds me of my girls when they were little and loved playing in sand too. Thanks for playing along with us again at SOS. xx
I love the way you separated your title and it just finally hit me why I keep singing your title - it's almost "Playing in the Band" (Grateful Dead)! So much fun! I love your LO! The cork and the linen work so well with the sandy nature of your pictures! Thanks so much for sharing!
