Happy 4th! We had a unique 4th. We spent the day at Summer Adventures in Fair Park. It was fabulous. Maddie rode a few rides, played in the water for over an hour, saw the trains, a show, and played in the giant sand house. We ate some "fair" food and even took Maddie on the Log Jam ride. She actually liked the Log Jam. It was a beautiful day. This evening we walked to the corner to see the fireworks at the country club. Maddie liked them and the "booms", but fell asleep rather quickly.
I finished a layout this of Maddie in her first Halloween outfit - a little Sweet Pea.
For the left side I used this sketch from Page Maps:
For the right side I used this sketch from Sketches with Color: I didn't use the color palette, but I used the sketch.
I also played along with Colorful Creations - July Say it with Words challenge. The challenge was to use a name on your page. I used "Maddie" in the title. Finally, I played along with Love to Scrap and their challenge #9 which is an Anything Goes challenge, just use a stamp. I used a CTMH alphabet stamp set to stamp Maddie's name for the title.
Here are a couple of closeups of my layout:
Materials Used: Paper - Provo Craft, Cosmo Cricket, and unknown scraps; buttons - CTMH; stamps - CTMH; ink - CTMH; journaling block - Cosmo Cricket; washi tape - JenniBowlin; flowers - Prima Petaloo; thickers; quickutz; label - Jillibean soup; ribbon - unkown; tidbits - October Afternoon.
Thanks for visiting! I hope you had a terrific and safe 4th of July!

I also played along with Really Reasonable Ribbon challenge #75. This challenge was anything but a card. I used pink ball ribbon in three different locations. I also used the theme "spooky" and did this layout from Halloween based on the Colorful Creations - July Theme Park challenge.
