NSD - Say AHH

Happy NSD to all my scrappy friends.  I am scrapping away today, well as much as my little 19 month old bundle of energy will let me. LOL! There are a ton of challenges in bloggy land and I'm trying to take part in as many as possible.

Here is my Layout #2/#3 for NSD:

Here are the challenges I am playing along with:

Scrap Our Stash - Stash Challenge:  Create a LAYOUT using as many items as possible from the list of stash items provided below.   For every two items you use on your layout form the stash list, you will be earn an extra entry into  the prize drawing.  And...if you use one of the sketches from the links below to create your layout, you will receive an additional (2) entries into the prize drawing.

Stash List:
Ribbon
Tags
Brads
Layered Stickers
Washi Tape
Twine
Paint
Wood Pieces
Bling
2 + Different Punches

I used tags, brads, washi tape (for the journaling), twine (the bows on the tags), bling (the hearts), and wood (the little floral ticket on the journaling is a wood embellishment from Prima).  I also used Brenda Ragsdale sketch below:

Another challenge I am participating in is the American Crafts: National Scrapbook Day Blog Hop and the following challenges associated with it:
Jill Cornell - Her challenge is to create a layout that mixes and matches alphabet stickers.  I mixed Pink Paislee chipboard alphabets with American Crafts Jewelry Box thickers. I even used a couple of American Crafts Typehouse foam numbers.
Patricia Roebuck - Her challenge is to use tags on your layout and use photos telling the story. I used tags behind the sequential photos on the left side. These photos show DH teaching DD to stick out her tongue when she was about 11 weeks old.
Becky Williams - Her challenge is to create a layout using at least 3 pictures that are at least 6 months old. I used 4 that are about 14 months old. Feels good to get them scrapped.

I am also playing along with Scrap Your Story Challenge #10 - Favorites. This layout is of my two most FAVORITE people in the world, my DD and my DH! I love how they laugh and play together and how she mimics everything he does. This is the very first thing she copied from him, sticking out her tongue. 14 months later, she is a little mini-HE, but this was my favorite first!

Finally, I am playing along with Colorful Creations - "E" challenge for the month of May. This challenge is to use circles - however you want to interpret it. I used large hand cut circles as my background behind the photos.

Here are some close-up photos:

Materials used:  paper - Crate Paper; title - American Crafts Thickers, Pink Paislee, and American Crafts typehouse foam numbers; twine - WeRMemory Keepers; phrase sticker - American Crafts Dear Lizzy; border sticker - Crate Paper; bling hearts - KaiserScrapbook; brads - Crate Paper; wood embellishment - Prima; washi tape - unknown.

Thanks for visiting!

Thanks for playing along with us at American Crafts for NSD. There were so many fun challenges and I am glad that you got a chance to try some. Believe me, too, there are many of us who feel like we will never "catch up" and that's okay. Have a great week!
