Remembering all of our heros today! Praying for their families. DH is working on the yard so we can bar-b-que this afternoon. He is really great about keeping both our front and backyards looking nice. DD is napping after staying up so late last night and then rising with the birds this morning. So I got a bit of time to scrap. I created this layout of her and I catching some ZZZ's when she was just 2 months old.
I used a sketch from Page Maps.
In addition to the sketch, you were to create a layout based on a boy or girl theme and place something creative in place of the flowery embellishment on the sketch. I rotated the sketch and then used a moon and stars in lieu of the floral embellishment. This is the baby boy paper line from LYB and I used it for my little girl layout.
Here are a couple of close-up photos.
Materials Used: paper - LYB; star die-cut - Li'l Davis Designs; border strip; K&Company; journaling tag - LYB; stickers - LYB; border stamp - CTMH; ink - CTMH.
Happy Memorial Day!
Thanks for visiting!

Hey Jess, I love love this layout and I remember those days so well... so I saw whatever works for you and to hell with what everyone else thinks... This layout is just so sweet and I really love the photo. Can't believe how big she is now :)
Thanks for always leaving comments on my blog (I really wish I had a reply button) My layouts - single or double - and depending on how fussy they are take me between 2 - 4 hours unless I am really struggling with mojo then I have taken a whole day :( take care xx
