SYTYCS #9 - Lovely

Well I made it to another week in the SYTYCS (So You Think You Can Scrap) challenge over at Colorful Creations. 

This is week #9 and the challenges are definitely getting harder. The left side is for the SYTYCS challenge, but I turned it into a double page spread.

The challenge required the use of this sketch:

The sketch layout must have:

6 photos 

1 Word Title 

You must use ALL of the following items:

2 Different Stamps

1 Pin

2 recycled elements

1 Rub On

1 hand made element

I used 6 photos of me and Maddie! My one word title is "lovely". I actually used four different stamps, the letters for the title (CTMH Trinity Alphabet), the journaling block at the bottom (CTMH Journaling), and the dots to create the border around the photos (CTMH Simple Stitches), and the DEC ticket (CTMH Cherish the Day). My pin is directly under the title, a gold circle. My two recycled items are the background paper for the photo blocks. I used packaging from the BasicGrey  Hey Girl line.  I also used repurposed raffia from a bar of soap that I received as a Christmas present. The rub-ons I used are the words "Precious Memories" and the floral motif below the words. Finally, the handmade elements are the layered butterfly embellishments.  

For the right side of the page, I played along with Apron Strings - Love Your Stash Challenge #17 to use metal. I used the metal phrase "Sing, You Make My heart Sing sing sing". I also used a metal pin and there is metallic on the butterfly border.
