I am participating in the LOAD (LayOut A Day) challenge over at Let's Scrap. This is layout #12 & 13, another from our recent trip to Aruba. I decided to play along with different challenges for each side. The left side is the October Sketch challenge from Scrap That. I also used the Scrappin N Happy October challenge - use a one word title.
Here is my left side layout:
Here is the sketch I used:
For the right side I used Sketchabilities Sketch #76. I also used the Frosted Designs Fabulous Friday challenge - use a doily. I used two white paper tissue doilys and 3 crocheted doilys made by my bestie, Angie. Thanks Angie!
Here is the right side:
And here is the right side sketch:
Finally, here are the two pages together.
I was inspired for my two page layout color scheme by the Apron Strings - Croptober #6 challenge. The orange and brown inspiration took on a slight shift as I used more of a peachy than an orange; but overall I thought the color scheme worked perfect for my layout. Here was the inspiration:
Here are a couple of enlarged pictures of my layouts:
Materials Used: paper - Bo Bunny Gabrielle & Bazzill; layered chipboard - Bo Bunny Gabrielle; stickers - Bo Bunny Gabrielle & Paper Studio La Petites; metal art sticker - K&Company; fabric labels - unknown; tissue paper doilys - Fancy Pants; trinket - Bo Bunny Gabrielle; paper clip - Basic Grey; thickers - happy; ribbon - unknown; crocheted doilys - Angie F.
Thanks for visiting. If you feel like being crafted, I hope you'll play along with the fun challenges above.

Great job getting your layouts done!!! I love both 2-pagers (I am a 2 page scrapper myself) and may borrow your Halloween layout!!! I thought it was hard to incorporate a doily on a scrapbook page (I have all boys) but you made it look so easy and good! Thanks for joining us this week at Frosted Designs!!
It is a wonderful layout, I love the colors and the swirls! Thanks for playing along with us at Sketchabilities! Anja

Look at you cranking out the pages and very nice work on combining two different sketches to create one 2-pager! Very nice.
Gorgeous page! I love the papers and embellies, and the one word title really pops off the page! Thanks for joining in my blog challenge this month :-)
