Project Life - Week 24

Welcome to Project Life 2012! If you are new to my blog, welcome! I hope you will stay a while. I'm Jessica, wife to Juan, mommy to new baby Maddie. I am also an electrical engineer by day and I am participating in Project Life, a different way to record our lives by taking one photo a day. This was inspired by the fabulous Becky Higgins who has put together a wonderful kit to make this challenge easier.

I am using the digital Cobalt kit, find it at http://www.beckyhiggins.com/blog/2011/10/new-product-has-arrived/ This digital version uses Shutterfly and is SUPER easy to use! See my completed pages for 2012 at http://scraplifterdesigns.blogspot.com/p/project-life-layouts.html

And now my pictures of the week:
Sunday - Maddie loves playing with cords. No matter how high I pull the blinds, she still tries to reach for it. I can't believe how tall she is, she can almost open the door.
Monday - Our dogs are still at the other house as we didn't have a place to put them in the new backyard. Today Juan rented a post hole digger and some pre-built panels and built them a dog run. It didn't turn out too bad for his first wood project. Maddie played in her activity chair while Mommy and Daddy worked outside.

Tuesday - Maddie still enjoys her activity chair for a limited time each day. She is beginning to play more with it from the outside than from sitting in it. She loves mirrors and pictures of herself.

Wednesday - Maddie's 9 month well baby visit was today with Dr. Hubbard. She is a very big baby at 25.4 lbs (over 95th percentile), 31" long (over 95th percentile) and 18-1/8" circumference head (92nd percentile). She told us to start maddie on all finger foods. She said there is no reason to continue pureeing baby food, just to make sure the bites are small and soft. She said that she could even eat hot dogs. She is definitely a happy and healthy baby and we are very blessed.

Thursday - It hailed horribly today. It was so loud that I took Maddie to an interior room. I was scared it was going to come through the roof. It tore up a lot of our new beautiful yard, fence, playground, even dented the new patio chairs. Thankfully my car was in the garage and Juan was still at work so his car was protected. The storm did a lot of damage everywhere.
Friday - Juan had fun with Maddie's pants today. Maddie wasn't quite as excited.
Saturday - We went to visit Maria and Alfonso today and Alfonso had bought this super cute little hat for Maddie. She was more interested in Abuelito's hat then her own; but Grandpa was happy.   Thanks for visiting!
