Happy Monday! Hope you had a fabulous weekend. I am taking a couple of vacation days and guess what I'm doing.....scrappin'! Yeah! This page took FOREVER. I started it last night and then worked on it for about 4-1/2 hours this morning; but I LOVE it! Do you spend hours on pages? I sure do. Anyways, I combined a bunch of challenges for this layout.
Here is my layout:
First, the left side of the layout is a sketch from Thursday Takes Challenge # 40 at Sketches In Thyme. I rotated the sketch. This is a sketch from PageMaps. Don't you just love PageMaps sketches? Drop over to Sketches in Thyme and play along. Here is the sketch:
The right side of my layout is a sketch from the Paper Variety's Sketch designed by special guest, Jana Eubank for week 25. I thought this sketch worked perfect with my photos. Drop over and check it out. Here is the sketch:
I also used this layout for the Scrap Our Stash Challenge #2 over at Let's Scrap. This weeks challenge was to use at least 5 brads, use at least 3 patterned papers, and use at least 3 different stamps. If you are going to use letter stamps for the title please don't count each letter as a separate stamp. They would count as one. Let's Scrap - Scrap Our Stash group is so fun and I am just loving these weekly challenges. I find myself using way more of my scrap on each page. Jump over and check out the inspiration! I used brads on the edges of each banner and the edge of the Beautiful Day sentiment. I used a four different stamps on this layout, three are actually new. CTMH Pennant Alphabet for the banner, CTMH On the Edge for the bracket; CTMH True Happiness for the Beautiful Day sentiment, and CTMH Eclectic Edges for the circle edging.
Finally, I used the Frosted Designs - Fabulous Friday challenge. This weeks challenge was to use a banner! I just love banners and I was super excited to use my new stamp set for my banner. I stamped each letter of the banner and then stamped it in reverse on the opposite side. Once I cut out the diamond, I scored it, folded it over and strung twine in between the letters.
Here are a few detailed shots:
Material Used: paper - Creative Imaginations, BoBunny, Stamping Station, and misc. scraps; rub-on See the wonder title- Chatter Box; butterflies - Jenni Bowlin Studio; ribbon trim - unknown; San Fran license plate - Creative Imaginations; chipboard date circle - unknown; journaling tag - KaiserCraft; ink - CTMH barn red; stamps - CTMH Pennant Alphabet, On the Edge; True Happiness, and Eclectic Edges.
Thanks SO much for visiting!

hi Jessica and WOW!!! You got some excellent shots of the GG bridge!! Beautiful 2 pager - definitely would've taken me that long - I am a slow scrapper, but I so enjoy the process. That's the fun of it, right? Thanks for playing at the Paper Variety! :)
This looks just terrific! I love the Golden Gate bridge anyway, and this just really took my breath away!
Beautiful layout! I just love San Francisco. Your banner looks like it should be on the bridge!
