Sketch #244 Challenge Layout

Happy Saturday, thanks for visiting my little piece of the blogging world!  There is a new sketch this week over at Scrapbook Challenges that I really liked; but it was only a single page sketch.  I stretched it and turned it into a 2-pager.

Here is the sketch:

And here is my layout:

For those of you who have been following my blog, I am still working on our CA vacation album.  I finished the trees in Yosemite, moved through the wineries of Sonoma, and now I'm on our last leg....San Franscisco.  This page is about our lunch at Pier 39 at the Crab House.  YUMMY!

Here are a couple of detailed shots: This page is really simple and I a little boring so I used a CTMH stamp around the border and added a sentment stamp as well as a large bracket stamp.  Also, notice the hand crocheted white round....especially created by my friend Angie!  Thanks Angie!!!

Materials Used:  paper - unknown; crab die-cut - Stamping Station; crab and wheel embellishments - EK Success A Touch of Jolee's; flower ribbon brads - the Paper Studio Spare Parts; tickets - KaiserCraft Seaside Collection Embellishment pack; brad - SEI; rick rack - unknown; journaling sticker - CTMH; stamps - CTMH Serendipity, Adventure, and Celebration; ink - CTMH brown bag; white paint pen - Marvy Uchida.

Thanks for visiting me!

Ooooh!! I love how this turned out! I like the dotted bracket on the left of your photo, and good choice on the stamp you used for the border. Of course the hand crocheted piece is AWESOME. =o)
