Hi! I hope you are having a fabulous weekend. The weather here in Dallas is awesome and we spent the day with the windows open, breeze blowing in, and laundry tumbling away. I decided to play along with a couple of blog site challenges for this San Francisco layout.
First, Punky Scraps Challenge #9 is a recipe challenge. Use 3/5 of the "ingredients" listed below:
I distressed the torn orange paper and punched border on the right with Goldrush Ink from CTMH, added a few flowers and I have multiple sparkles - the bling emphasizing my hubbies photo and the San Francisco title is actually shiny metallic paper. Head over to Punky Scraps and play along!
Second, Scrap Our Stash March Challenge: is to Dust off that thing you have been ignoring. You know you have something that you've kinda of let go by the wayside - it could be a tool, a techinique, a supply, a project etc... Whatever it is, it's time to dust it off & use it!!
I pulled out my San Francisco die-cut that I have been hoarding for almost 4 years for this layout. I decided it was finally time that I used it. I think it took longer to put the die-cut together than it did to complete the entire layout!
Here is my layout:
Here are a few detailed shots:
Materials Used: paper - CTMH; San Francisco die-cut - Paper Wizard; journaling block - Fancy Pants; border punch - Stampin' Up; circle bling - CTMH; flowers - Recollections; tag - unknown; ink - CTMH Goldrush; jute - CTMH.
Thanks for stopping by!
