New Layout - Batteries Not Included (12)

Happy Hump Day my scrappy friends,

I finished another old layout today from when DD was only 3 years old. On Christmas, after opening what seemed to be hundreds of presents, she spent the afternoon playing in the backyard with a box!

I played along with Paper Issues Jan challenge - Pictionary. This challenge is to get inspired by this retro style mood board.  I was inspired to create a "batteries not included" layout of playing with a box. I created the page to have flags on it as well as flags in the photos. I was also inspired by the colors pink, coral, white, black, and tan.

I used a kit from CTMH and stamps and ink from CTMH.

New Layout - Home for Christmas (11)

Happy Monday,

Even happier it's over. Monday is my least favorite day of the week. I finished a layout today from Christmas 2014 with DD and her siblings.

I played along with Paper Issues Jan challenge - Clue. This challenge is to be inspired by this classic mystery game and tell us about your favorite spot in the house. My favorite spot in the house is my scraproom. It's where we gather, where I create, and where my daughter plays. The perfect way to end the day.

I used a page kit from CTMH and added nuvo drops, stamps from CTMH and Heidi Swap and ink pads from CTMH.

New Layout - Let's Roll 9/10

It's almost Monday again,

It took me all day, but I did accomplish another layout. This one of DD's first bike. I just love the little training wheels.

I played along with Paper Issues January Challenge - Operation. This challenge is to pull out those surgical instruments and put those motor skills to the test! Show us your fussy cutting skills, use your die cutting machine, or show us how well you can sew up your layout. I used a ton of fussy cutting, lots of fine ink to make dots and dashes, ink for shading, ties, and of course surgical staples with my attacher.

I used a kit from GoToTreasureBox, and adjusted to fit my photos. I also added twine, staples, ink from CTMH, misc. journaling blocks/tags, alpha stickers from October Afternoon, alphas from Pebbles, and Thickers.

New Layout - Let's Picnic 7/8

Happy 2nd Day of January,

I'm right on track with my goal of 365 layouts this year.  This is # 7/8.

I played along with Paper Issues Yahtzee challenge. To use white, black and red on your layout. This one was really hard for me.  I did use a tad of green for the grass and brown for the basket, otherwise I stayed with only those colors.

I used a page kit from Doodillydesigns.com and added stamps from CTMH, journaling tags from CTMH and Pretty Little Studio, ink from CTMH, ephemera from Photoplay, and misc. ribbon from my stash.

New Layout - 12 Days of Christmas 5/6

Howdy,

It's me again! I completed another Christmas layout from 2014. This one was of the Arboretum's 12 Days of Christmas.

I played along with CSI Case File No. 342. I copied the scene and used white as my background. I used all the colors in the scheme and copied the style. I used stripes, winter themed elements with my photos, cursive/brush font for the title, a deer, enamel dots, die cuts, trees, I documented a favorite winter activity (the 12 days of Christmas), I handwrote directly on my layout, and was inspired by the words winter and cold to create this layout.

I also played along with Paper Issues Jan challenge - Memory. This challenge is to create a layout of a memory. This is another old memory from 2014. I'm excited to be knocking out these pages already this year! Hope you are having a scrappy weekend!

I used a page kit from CTMH and added a stamp from Heidi Swap and extra epoxy dots from CTMH.

Thanks for visiting.

New Layout - Merry Christmas - 3/4

Happy 1st! It's me again and I'm on a roll!

This is a layout of the 1st theater production we took Maddie to in 2014.

I played along with Paper Issues Jan challenge - Memory. This challenge is to create a layout of a memory. This is a great memory of Christmas from long ago.

I used a page kit from CTMH and added journaling tags from My Paper Studio and misc. ribbon from my stash.

See you again soon!

New Layout - Christmas Eve -1/2

Happy New Year!  It's 2021 and I am READY for 2020 to be GONE.  December was super crazy, so I haven't scrapped since before Thanksgiving.  I'm ready to get some crafting done!

Here is my first layout of the year - XMAS Eve 2014 at my mom's house.

I am playing along with Paper Issues Jan challenge - Jenga; this challenge is to use layers. I used a ton of layers, in the diecuts, with matting, and even with the layers of presents for my hidden journaling.

I used a really old kit from Paper Wizard and modified it to work with my millions of photos.

Thanks for visiting! I wish you health and happiness in 2021!
