Project Life - Week 42

Welcome to Project Life 2014! If you are new to my blog, welcome! I hope you will stay a while. I'm Jessica, wife to Juan, mommy to 2 year old Maddie. I am also an electrical engineer by day and I am participating in Project Life, a different way to record our lives by taking one photo a day. This was inspired by the fabulous Becky Higgins who has put together a wonderful kit to make this challenge easier.

I am using the digital kit on shutterfly. This digital version is SUPER easy to use! See my completed pages for 2012 using the Shutterfly Cobalt kit HERE. I will hopefully be posting my 2013 pages soon.

And finally, my POTW (pictures of the week) -

Thursday - Mrs. Siobhan came over tonight for dinner. Daddy and Maddie were excited to sit in her car. They both thought it was really cool, although Daddy almost couldn't get out.

Saturday - We spent the morning having breakfast and walking around downtown. We walked right by the B & G. The Dallas Convention and Visitor's Bureau campaign "Dallas BIG Things Happen Here" has been going on for over a year. These famous letters pop up all over Dallas, often with prizes. We didn't get any prizes, but I've been dying for the opportunity to be part of the "BiG" Dallas. Then we headed over to Clyde Warren Park where Maddie quickly made a "best friend." She was sad when we left to check out the Nasher Sculpture Garden - there was a guard on duty that really was anxious having Maddie around. She touched one little metal statue and it was the end of the world - not exactly the way to win life long members. They had these cool spinning chairs in back that you could try out, although Maddie didn't want to sit on those! Finally, we headed over the kids area at the DMA (Dallas Museum of Art) where she did a craft, played with legos and explored.
