Project Life - Week 39

Welcome to Project Life 2014! If you are new to my blog, welcome! I hope you will stay a while. I'm Jessica, wife to Juan, mommy to 2 year old Maddie. I am also an electrical engineer by day and I am participating in Project Life, a different way to record our lives by taking one photo a day. This was inspired by the fabulous Becky Higgins who has put together a wonderful kit to make this challenge easier.

I am using the digital kit on shutterfly. This digital version is SUPER easy to use! See my completed pages for 2012 using the Shutterfly Cobalt kit HERE. I will hopefully be posting my 2013 pages soon.

And finally, my POTW (pictures of the week) -

Saturday - Again today when we asked Maddie what she wanted to do, her answer was "the aquarium;" so off we went to the Dallas Aquarium. The sloth was very active today and Maddie really liked looking at all the fish. Daddy showed Maddie that laying on the floor in the shark tunnel and looking up gave a whole new perspective to the sharks. Neither one cared that everyone was looking at them laying on the floor. The dancers were out today and Maddie was in awe of them. She even wanted to take her photo with them. After we finished at the Aquarium, we headed to Steel City Pops for a delicious snack. This afternoon we headed to Arlington to Noel's 2nd Birthday party at the Little Gym. Maddie had a great time, but she climbed into the middle of the parachute with Noel when it was time for the birthday girl to be spotlighted. Noel thought it was great. Her and Maddie are great friends! All of the girls were given tutu's and the boys were given pirate hooks and hats. Maddie loved the tutu, but wanted to know why she didn't the pirate items, LOL! There was even a real mermaid. Such a cute birthday party.

Tuesday - Maddie has been LOVING the craft sets she received for her birthday. Today she was eager to work on her princess craft set. She made magnets, a tiara and even a magic wand! She had to make them ALL today, of course. Such a fun and creative gift.
