Project Life - Week 29

Welcome to Project Life 2014! If you are new to my blog, welcome! I hope you will stay a while. I'm Jessica, wife to Juan, mommy to 2 year old Maddie. I am also an electrical engineer by day and I am participating in Project Life, a different way to record our lives by taking one photo a day. This was inspired by the fabulous Becky Higgins who has put together a wonderful kit to make this challenge easier.

I am using the digital kit on shutterfly. This digital version is SUPER easy to use! See my completed pages for 2012 using the Shutterfly Cobalt kit HERE. I will hopefully be posting my 2013 pages soon.

And finally, my POTW (pictures of the week) -

Friday - Maddie loves these big faces that come with stickers to add eyes, nose and mouths to. Her and Daddy have a blast building funny faces together. Today she realized that she could put the stickers on her face. Oh dear Daddy.

Saturday - Today we went out to Twin Oaks Blueberry Farm sponsored by Texas A&M University Commerce in Campbell, Texas. You pick your own blueberries and then pay for them by weight. This was about the last weekend before they are out of blueberries. Maddie had a blast picking blueberries, until she stood in a red ant hill to pick them. Suddenly she was crying and when we picked her up to check her out, we saw red ants under her pants and in her socks - all biting away. We brushed them all of and moved her away and not 10 minutes later they were biting her again. We came home with a ton of blueberries to freeze. They were all yummy too!

Sunday - Another gorgeous afternoon! After church, Juan grilled again while Maddie played in the backyard. She loved being outside and loves her play set.

Tuesday - We spent this evening at Moss Farm letting Maddie play on the jungle gym. She is such an amazing climber! She climbed the arch all the way to the top without any assistance. I foresee rock climbing in her future for sure!
