Project Life - Week 47

Welcome to Project Life 2013! If you are new to my blog, welcome! I hope you will stay a while. I'm Jessica, wife to Juan, mommy to 2 year old Maddie. I am also an electrical engineer by day and I am participating in Project Life, a different way to record our lives by taking one photo a day. This was inspired by the fabulous Becky Higgins who has put together a wonderful kit to make this challenge easier.

I am using the digital kit on shutterfly (hopefully Olive once it has been released), find more info at http://www.beckyhiggins.com/blog. This digital version uses Shutterfly and is SUPER easy to use! See my completed pages for 2012 using the Shutterfly Cobalt kit HERE.

And finally, my POTW (pictures of the week):

Wednesday - Maddie came into the bathroom to find me... looks like she's been playing in my closet!

Thursday - Today was the last day of school for Maddie before Thanksgiving break. They had a Thanksgiving luncheon that we were invited to attend and then had early release. Maddie was very excited to have both Mommy and Daddy there! It was great to eat and talk with her two teachers - Mrs. Lisa and Mrs. Jackie. They got to fill us in on all Maddie's activities. They said she is very active and that while they struggled with her getting up at nap time and running off when they lined up in the courtyard, she is adjusting and doing better now. They said she does better in line when she is the leader and she often helps clean up around the classroom. They each made adorable little turkeys for the table centerpieces. Mrs. Lisa said Maddie kept adding feathers until there was no where else to stick the feathers in.

Friday - Maddie loves playing playdough with Daddy. Daddy is definitely helping her develop her imagination. He has made her a witch and a snake and from then on that was all she wanted to make. He eventually made her an elephant and a kitty cat, but she almost always asks you to make her a snake or witch. She hasn't gotten past cutting or using the shape maker herself, hasn't quite got the knack for creating her own shapes.

Saturday - A closeup of Maddie's turkey from school.

Sunday - Nana came to visit today and brough Maddie a huge Mickey/Minnie Mouse color/sticker book. Maddie was super excited!

Monday - I received bubble wrap in some packages today and Maddie really wanted to pop them. She wasn't quite strong enough, so we bubble wrapped her instead. She thought that was quite awesome!

Thanks for visiting!
