Project Life - Week 40

Welcome to Project Life 2013! If you are new to my blog, welcome! I hope you will stay a while. I'm Jessica, wife to Juan, mommy to 2 year old Maddie. I am also an electrical engineer by day and I am participating in Project Life, a different way to record our lives by taking one photo a day. This was inspired by the fabulous Becky Higgins who has put together a wonderful kit to make this challenge easier.

I am using the digital kit on shutterfly (hopefully Olive once it has been released), find more info at http://www.beckyhiggins.com/blog. This digital version uses Shutterfly and is SUPER easy to use! See my completed pages for 2012 using the Shutterfly Cobalt kit HERE.

And finally, my POTW (pictures of the week):

Tuesday - I am very embarrassed to say that our A/C has been dragging lately and we realized that we have not changed the filters in either unit since we moved in last year. We had a local A/C company (Air Marshall) owned by a Moss Farm dad come service both units. The filters were in HORRIBLE condition.

Thursday - It's Canstruction time again and I cut 2000 3" circles for our ccrd Canstruction team. It took me late into the night and took almost 250 sheets of yellow paper from four different stores.

Friday - Daddy finally put together Maddie's birthday tricycle. She loves it. She can't quite peddle herself, but tries. Maddie also loves helping Daddy in the garage. She doesn't like the noise of the saw though!

Saturday - Today we finally got Maddie's 2 year pictures taken at JCPenney's. She was very happy to have Tiffany take her photos. Too cute.

Sunday - Aunt Miri came with us to the State Fair of Texas today. We had a wonderful time. Maddie absolutely LOVED the midway and the rides. She wanted to ride EVERYTHING! She even rode the kiddie roller coaster with Daddy. I just knew she would be terrified, but she loved it! We had corney dogs and Aunt Miri had a bacon cinnamon roll. Maddie went through the LITTLE HANDS ON THE FARM - a miniature farm where they can plant seeds, gather eggs and drive a tiny tractor before harvesting crops and taking them to market. She even got play money at the market to purchase a snack, Maddie chose animal crackers. The new Big Tex was even on exhibit after he burnt down last year.  What a fun day!

Monday - Maddie is still obsessed with Dora, but once in awhile she wants to "pick a movie."
Today it was Cinderella. Daddy doesn't want her watching "princess" shows, but I thought Cinderella was too much of a classic not to let her watch it.

Thanks for visiting!
