Project Life - Week 32

Welcome to Project Life 2012! If you are new to my blog, welcome! I hope you will stay a while. I'm Jessica, wife to Juan, mommy to new baby Maddie. I am also an electrical engineer by day and I am participating in Project Life, a different way to record our lives by taking one photo a day. This was inspired by the fabulous Becky Higgins who has put together a wonderful kit to make this challenge easier.

I am using the digital Cobalt kit, find it at http://www.beckyhiggins.com/blog/2011/10/new-product-has-arrived/ This digital version uses Shutterfly and is SUPER easy to use! See my completed pages for 2012 at http://scraplifterdesigns.blogspot.com/p/project-life-layouts.html

And now my pictures of the week:

Sunday - Today was Isabella's 5th birthday party. It was at the Cimmaron Water Park in Irving. It was a great little water park perfect for children. They opened the park 2 hours early just for Isabella's party. Isabella had a great time and Maddie loved the water and all of the other children.

Monday - Such a sad day in our neighborhood. Our neighbor on the street behind us has a house fire. It was a three alarm fire and thankfully no one was injured. Apparently a gas fired propane grill in the backyard exploded but the two teenage boys got out safely. The house was a total loss. Our hearts and prayers go out to our new neighbors.

Tuesday - Maddie still loves her baths. Daddy has been teaching her his "stank eye" stare and she has quickly picked it up. She is a little mini Juan.

Wednesday - Maddie is a little Monkey! Today I caught her climbing the little foot ramp onto her foot stool. She will climb on anything.

Thursday - Maddie has been enthralled with her Baby Einstein cards the last couple of days. There are about 12 cards with different animals on them. For whatever reason, she always want to be holding both the Lion and Bear. She hollared everytime we tried to swap out her cards. Such a goofy little girl.

Saturday - We went to the dump to look for a unique chair for Maddie's birthday invitations. We found a chair, but it was perfect for our front porch so we decided to buy two of them. We also fell in love with a desk set for our bedroom. Juan found it and I agreed it was perfect. Not at all what we should be buying right now, and way too expensive but it was too perfect to pass up. It is being delivered on Tuesday! We wore out pore little Maddie who zonked out the second we hit the road.

Thanks for visiting!
