Project Life Tuesday - Week 33

Welcome to Project Life Tuesday 2011! If you are new to my blog, welcome! I hope you will stay awhile. I'm Jessica and I am participating in Project Life, a different way to record our lives by taking one photo a day. This was inspired by the fabulous Becky Higgins who has put together a wonderful kit to make this challenge easier.

Don't worry, I'm not leaving traditional scrapbooking behind. This just gives me the opportunity to focus my scrapbooking on trips and things that are important to me right now and not get all bogged down with every birthday, dinner, and holiday that comes along.

Each Tuesday, I will post my pictures/journaling from the previous week. Project Life Tuesday was created by Jessica Turner over at The Mom Creative and she hosts a linky for readers to link up their pictures. So if you want to join in or want to see others POTW, just click the Project Lift button at the top of this post.

And finally, my POTW:

Saturday - We took our nephew, Jakob to the children's museum today.  We all had a great time and Jakob could have easily stayed for hours.  I think Juan could have too!

Sunday - We installed Coco's curtain rod and valences today.  They look really cute, but I am still concerned there is not enough pink! :)
Monday - Here is our little coconut!  She is 32 weeks and we had our second advanced maternal age sonogram.  Everything looks perfect with her.  Plenty of fluid, her head and extremities are tracking perfectly at 32 weeks and her tummy is tracking at 33 weeks.  She is moving well and has already turned head down, preparing for her entry into the world.  Only 8 short weeks now.  Dr. Koster estimates she is about 4-1/2 lbs and if she tracks as she is now, she will be about 7-1/2 lbs at delivery and average!  Probably the only time in her life that I am excited that she is average.

Tuesday - Juan finally passed one of the seven architectural tests that he needs for his license.  YEAH!!!!!! He has been trying so hard and studying a ton.  Now if he can just focus and pass the next one!  Congrats Juan....good job!

Wednesday - I completely forgot to take belly pics this week, so this is the closest that I have.  I am officially 32 weeks pregnant today.  By now, our baby weighs 3.75 pounds (pick up a large jicama) and is about 16.7 inches long, taking up a lot of space in my uterus. I should be gaining about a pound a week and roughly half of that goes right to our baby. In fact, she'll gain a third to half of her birth weight during the next 7 weeks as she fattens up for survival outside the womb. She now has toenails, fingernails, and real hair (or at least respectable peach fuzz). Her skin is becoming soft and smooth as she plumps up in preparation for birth.  Stats: 239.9 lbs

Thursday - The crib was finally delivered today.  Her room is still a bit bare, but at least we have a place for her to sleep.  I still think the room needs more pink!

Friday - We took Sarah to Breadwinner's for lunch to celebrate her birthday!  Great food and lots of laughs with the girlies!  Happy birthday Sarah!
Thanks for visiting me again this week!
