New Layout - Feed Me

Happy Monday,

Is it wrong that I am already desperate for the weekend? I definitely have a case of the Monday's. I played last night with my new Distressed Oxides. It's not perfect, and I mixed up the order of the purples on accident, but it was still fun to create.

I played along with Paper Issues August sketch challenge.

I used the following colors of Ranger Distressed Oxides: wilted violet, picked raspberry, festive berries, carved pumpkin, mustard seed, mowed lawn, broken china, and seedless preserves. After applying the inks, I used a brush and splattered each color. I also added Jolees stickers, misc washi from my stash and a date stamp from Heidi Swapp.

New Layout - You're Changing Right Before my Eyes

Happy Saturday,

Another weekend is here. I'm sharing a layout I made of DD "helping" me open my mother's day present. She was so little!

I played along with a sketch from Paper Issues August challenge.

I also used my brand new Distressed Oxides and Nuvo drops that I ordered. I had so much fun playing with them. I used Scattered Straw, Evergreen Bough and Bard Door. These are so much fun to play with! I highly recommend picking up a few. I used Red Berry Crystal Nuvo drops. I used paper and stickers from a really old Cosmo Cricket line.

Have a wonderful weekend!

New Layout - Elf Delivery

Happy day to all my scrappy friends,

I'm up today over at Lasting Memories as a Guest Designer August. This is my layout for their 4th monthly challenge. This month is all about special events. Their 4th challenge for the month #512 is Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa.  I chose Christmas, and delivery of Christmas cheer to my office. Every year we make yummies to share with my co-workers. Maddie was so excited to dress up in her Elf Jammies for the delivery. She ended up getting candy from about half of the people we delivered to.

For this layout I used paper from Paper Pizazz, die-cuts from My Mind's Eye, tag from Scrap Your Trip, chipboard Scrapmatts painted wtih gold paint from Folk Art, 3D stickers from Jolee's boutique, letters from cocoadaisy and BasicGrey, stamps and ink from CTMH, and twine from The Twinery.

This is my layout for challenge #16 Simon Says. This challenge was to follow along LIVE with Danielle and use the following supplies: Supply List for Simon Says: White cardstock (preferably foundations, otherwhise gesso your white cs), patterened paper, a wet medium (oxide inks, crayons or water colors), embellishments of choice (ephemera, puffy stickers, cs stickers, brads etc), alphabet and a black fine liner. Camp Paper Issues - #12 Dogpile

Happy Tuesday my crafty friends,

I'm so excited! I'm participating in the Paper Issues Camp this week and I'm determined to finish all the challenges. There are 25, so that's probably not realistic for me, but I'm still going to try! I'm on team Crazy Crafty Chicks.

This my #12 layouts. This layout was created for the Obstacle Course challenge. I included: 3 photos for the 3 legged race; circles for the tire run; a one word title for the Balance Beam walk, I used only the top half of my page for the hurdles, and verticle stripes for the Rope climb.

I also played along with More than Words August Main Challenge: Chill Out and Sketch. I used the sketch and was inspired by the words "Chill Out" for these photos. Nothing like a little fun - dogpile on Nana to reduce your stress level; laughter from 3 toddlers!

To create this page I used templates from TheCraftersWorkshop and Tim Holtz, ink from CTMH, epoxy dots from Queen & Company, letter stickers from October Afternoon, an arrow diecut from Quickutz, a square punch from Creative Memories, and random scraps of pattern paper from my stash.
