Welcome to Project Life 2015! If you are new to my blog, welcome! I hope you will stay a while. I'm Jessica, wife to Juan, mommy to 3 year old Maddie. I am also an electrical engineer by day and I am participating in Project Life, a different way to record our lives by taking one photo a day. This was inspired by the fabulous Becky Higgins.
I am using a digital kit on Shutterfly. This digital version is SUPER easy to use! Friday - Juan and I joined Siobhan for her surprise birthday party get together. We went to dinner at Cole Vines. It was delicious, but we had to wait over an hour for a table and didn't finish dinner until about 11:30pm. We are not used to such late nights, but it was great to have a night out and to be able to celebrate with our friend!
Monday - Jaime drove up from San Antonio to "watch" Alfonso while Maria goes to her court date. It was Maria's birthday this past weekend, so Marco and Gracie setup dinner for the family at Maggiano's in Northpark. Unfortunately we struggled getting Alfonso out of the car and to the table to sit down. I don't think we will be doing anymore family dinners at a restaurant. Happy Birthday Maria! Also, Maddie has still been doing great in her big girl bed at night. She does come in and wake me up 1, 2, sometimes 3 times each night to go potty, but still no accidents!
Tuesday - Maddie's giraffe craft project at school.
Wednesday - Maddie had fun having her Tio Jaime around this week. Today they blew bubbles outside while Daddy mowed the grass.
Thursday - Another drawing Maddie did at school. I'm not sure exactly what this one was.

Saturday - Maddie loves playing soccer in the garage with Daddy and has been asking him to play about 10 times a day. She is getting pretty good at stopping the ball and kicking it. We also finished installing her canopy over her bed today. She said that she was a princess.
Sunday - We finally got our garden planted today. We found a new sign at Calloways and I was super excited to get it hung above our little plants. We planted a cucumber, 6 bean plants, 5 strawberry plants, a spaghetti squash plant, 3 corn stalks, 5 tomato plants, and a cantaloupe plant. We also added a couple more herbs to the herb section. Maddie was very excited to help plant. We are loving our new little breakfast table. We still need to find a bench, but even Maddie says, "I want to eat at the wood table." Daddy brought Maddie and I flowers today, just because he loves us!
