Project Life - Week 31

Welcome to Project Life 2014! If you are new to my blog, welcome! I hope you will stay a while. I'm Jessica, wife to Juan, mommy to 2 year old Maddie. I am also an electrical engineer by day and I am participating in Project Life, a different way to record our lives by taking one photo a day. This was inspired by the fabulous Becky Higgins who has put together a wonderful kit to make this challenge easier.

I am using the digital kit on shutterfly. This digital version is SUPER easy to use! See my completed pages for 2012 using the Shutterfly Cobalt kit HERE. I will hopefully be posting my 2013 pages soon.

And finally, my POTW (pictures of the week) -

Wednesday - Maddie always wants to watch TV in our big bed. We usually let her for awhile in the mornings while I am getting ready for work. Typically she watches "Jake and the Neverland Pirates," "Peppa Pig," "Dora," or "Paw Patrol." And yes, she typically brings her blankie and a few friends with her into the bed.

Saturday - This morning we attended the monthly Kids Workshop at Home Depot. Today they made a pencil holder. Maddie did almost all of the hammering by herself. She LOVES these workshops! This afternoon was Henry's 3rd birthday party at the Lake Highlands Rec Center. They had hoola hoops, balls, a bounce house, and lots of other kid friendly things to play with in the gym. Henry's cake was made completely of fruit with watermelon as the base. That kid loves fruit as much as Maddie. I think Daddy had as much fun as Maddie did. Later this evening, Maddie and I met Sarah, Jim and baby Ian at the Lake Highlands splash pool. Maddie loved showing Ian how to play in the fountains. We had a very busy day!

Sunday - We headed to Nana's today to play in the pool with Ashlyn and Jakob. The kids had a great time squirting water guns at each other. After the pool, we went inside and the kids played together with the Dora house and then we all had home-made ice-cream! Yummy!

Tuesday - We are still using the frozen blueberries we picked. Maddie and I made blueberry popsciles today. She thought they were great!
