Project Life - Week 51

Welcome to Project Life 2013! If you are new to my blog, welcome! I hope you will stay a while. I'm Jessica, wife to Juan, mommy to 2 year old Maddie. I am also an electrical engineer by day and I am participating in Project Life, a different way to record our lives by taking one photo a day. This was inspired by the fabulous Becky Higgins who has put together a wonderful kit to make this challenge easier.

Tuesday - Maddie constantly takes a drink and then says, "Look, look Mommy, look." She loves milk mustaches and always makes sure you see hers. She also does it with water and orange juice and we haven't got her to understand that those beverages don't leave a mustache! LOL!

Thursday - We took Maddie to Santa's village this evening. She loved it. We waiting in line for a couple of houses. She really liked the bank - an ATM machine that you put in a card and it spit out a keychain and a lollipop! Her favorite, a lollipop, she was in heaven. She also liked the Police Station and getting to wear the police jacket and hat and sit with McGruff, the crime dog. Her favorite part of the night, running around the huge tree filled with lights. She is such a funny little runner, holding her fists up and pumping them as she runs. She did not want to leave and cried. Here is a video of her running.

Saturday - Maddie spent the afternoon with Nana so that Mommy and Daddy could go see a movie and have an early dinner. Maddie loves to visit Nana and she was all excited to see presents under Nana's tree!

Sunday - We had a fun filled, busy day today. We took Maddie to the Trains at Northpark, which she loved. She also made a new friend, a little boy her age who she watched the trains with forever. This evening, we hosted dinner with our dear friends Dave and Shioban Winfrey. It was a great time and we enjoyed ourselves immensely!

Monday - We were preparing the spare bedroom for Tiffany's arrival and Maddie decided she needed to climb into her bed. She said, "night, night Maddie" and then pretended to be asleep, silly goose!

Tuesday - Christmas Eve at Nana's. The kiddos had a fantastic time and it was so much fun watching them enjoy everything. Also, Tiffany is visiting from Mexico and joined us for the festivities. All three kiddos loved their glow pillow pets from Nana. Vanessa and I just happened to buy the girls the exact same Christmas dress, I guess we obviously shop at the same stores! Mom bought the three of us girls matching pj's. The kiddos wanted to join in the photo with their jammies too! It was a wonderful evening and we all had a blast!  Here is a video of Maddie opening her pillow pet, too cute.
