11.25.10 Thanksgiving Dinner

We have been very blessed this year.  Unfortunately our dinner for 13 turned into dinner for 4 as quite a few people cancelled at the last minute; but the food was all delicious, if I do say so myself!  It was great to have both my mother and Juan's parents in our home to celebrate.  This is the only day of the entire year that we have the chance to cook for our families and that is so very important to me.  Happy Thanksgiving to everyone and I hope your families are blessed!

11.24.10 Blog Candy Arrives

I blogged a couple of weeks ago that I won some blog candy from Scrap with Stacy and it arrived today!  It was so much more than I anticipated.  Check out all the yummy goodness!  She has yet another give-away on her blog now, check it out here.  Thanks again Stacy, I can't wait to use it all!

11.23.10 Thanksgiving Grocery Shopping

With Thanksgiving quickly approaching we wanted to get the grocery shopping completed before the masses were out and about.  Juan and I spent the evening loading up the buggy with yummy goodness!  We are hosting dinner for 13.

11.22.10 My Office

This is my office at ccrd.  After a lot of soul searching I have decided to take personal leave through the end of the year.  I am having a lot of internal struggles and I feel my life is not on course.  The office is undergoing renovations and my office, in this form, will be gone.  Maybe a new start will be good in the New Year.

11.21.10 Our Group

Shannon, Angie, Michelle and I were a group this weekend.  The four of us shared a room, a table, and a lot of laughs!  We also made some new friends with Sue's group.

11.20.10 Yummy Dinners

The host of the Scrappin' Pad provides three delicious meals a day.  Not only were they all yummy, but it allowed us to spend more time scrappin'!

11.19.10 Three Best Friends

Shannon, Angie and I spent the weekend at the Scrappin' Pad outside Tulsa, OK.  It was a fabulous little place, just perfect for a girls' scrap weekend.

11.18.10 Birthday Present from Shannon

I arrived at Angie's for an all girls weekend and scrap-a-thon at the Scrappin' Pad.  Shannon joined us and brought me birthday presents.  Aren't presents fun?  I was so excited to open a pink adhesive gun although I wish it was blinged out. :)  Shannon also got me a couple of awesome page kits.  Thanks Shannon!

11.17.10 Juan's UTA Exhibit

Juan was invited to be part of another photography exhibit.  This one is at University of Texas at Arlington in the Architecture department.  He has 20 photos of architecture displayed.  He is really getting a lot of opportunities to display his work.

11.16.10 New Tires

Nothing like the upkeep of vehicles.  Juan's car has been vibrating horribly for the past couple of months and we learned it was a bubble in the tire.  Looks like time to replace them!
