Hello, it's almost 2023 and I'm frantically trying to get a few more layouts in!
I began this blog to document my POTD (picture of the day) for our Project Life album in 2010. In Sept. 2011 I had our first baby and I plan for her to have the most documented life possible. I have continued each year with Project Life, but also have expanded my blog to include layouts and other creations. Life has gotten busy, so I don't post as often as I used to, but am still determined to try. I would love to have you join me on our journey! Thank you for visiting!

Guest Designer @ CSI Case File 394
I'm up this month as a Guest Detective at CSI: Color, Stories, Inspiration.
I was inspired by the scheme to pull out my "school" products, but I didn't want to complete a "school" layout. I got creative and decided to create a layout about my daughter's summer camp experience at the Perot Museum of Nature and Science. I solved Case File No. 394 using the color scheme: Orange, Aqua, Chartreuse, and Chocolate Brown. For my evidence I used woodgrain alphas, hexagons, school-themed items (microscope, beakers, and overall science motif), globes, labels, a spiral punch along the right of the photos, and puffy alpha stickers. For my testimony I underlined my journaling on Elle's Studio lables.
This was a fun and versitile case file and I thoroughly enjoyed playing along. Join CSI this month and solve the case yourself!
Supplies used on my layout: DCWV paper; Belle Blvd Pop Quiz Ephemera; Elle's Studio journaling notes, stamps, and alphas; Simple Stories woodgrain alphas; CTMH plastic accessories and alpha stamps; Tim Holtz, Alte&New, and TCW stencils; distress oxide walnut stain; and Nuvo Stone Drops boulder gray.

New Layout - (218) Making a Video
Happy Saturday! I glued today. I played along with Scrap with Stacy - August Scrappy Friends Reveal and Rochelle Spears - Scrappy Friends sketch challenge. For the Tic Tac Toe, I went vertical and used patterned paper with words on it for my main center background paper, lots of stickers (and basically the entire line of Simple Stories - Simple Vintage Farmhouse Garden), and tags that I punched and tucked behind the top of the photos. What a fun challenge and sketch this month!
Here's the sketch and the Tic Tac Toe board!
