I have not been able to scrap much as I've been purging and organizing my scrap room. I took some time out today to finish this cute little layout of Maddie in the Texas Bluebonnets when she was just 19 months old.
I played along with Paper Issues Alphabet Soup - 26 days of Alphabet inspired challenges. Q is for Quote. I used two different stamped quotes: "Plant smiles, grow laughsm, harvest love," and "may you have enough happiness to make you sweet, enough trials to make you strong, enough sorrow to keep you human, and enough hope to make you happy."
For this layout I used a kit from Paper Wizard with paper from Simple Stories and Authentique, die-cuts from Paper Wiz, and stamps/alphabets from CTMH.

Happy Weekend all! What month are we in? I've not only lost track of days, but weeks and months at this point.
I completed this layout today of our COVID backyard time. When you're isolated together in Texas, what else is there to do but hang out in your backyard! That is now our daily routine, usually with a picnic snack and a glass/bottle of wine. We have birds, butterflies, lizards, bees, dragonflies, etc. that love to share our wonderful space. We often play imagination clouds and try to "see" things in the clouds. I wanted to scrap this right away to make sure these memories get documented.
I played along with CSI Case File No. 319:
To solve the case, I used thecolor scheme and used white background tih grey, pink, red and teal colors mixed in. I didn't stay completely true to the colors as there is some yellow and green mixed in on my page. For evidence, I used wonky dots (the epoxy puffy circles on the left), cutesy elements in my background pattern paper, animals (bees, turtles, butterflies, and birds), clouds (stickers and paper), flowers and leaves (in the paper), fruit, veggies and other food (in my photos), lots of stamping, enamel dots, a banner (title), and mixing cursive with print fonts (the hello sunshine sticker). For testimony I documented a weekly/daily routing of hanging out in our backyard now that COVID has required self isolation.
I also played along with Paper Issues Alphabet Soup - 26 Days of Alphabet inspired challenges. Today I used "L". L is for lovely, loves, laughing, lines, and leaves.
To complete this layout I used: a paper kit from EmbellishIt, paper from Echo Park and Bazzill, puffy stickers from AC, stickers from Echo Park, ink and Stamps from CTMH and PhotoPlay and misc. twine from my stash.

Happy Rainy Sunday my scrappy friends!
I've been playing with the layout of my dear daughter and her i-pad at 16 months. She could barely communicate with words and sign language, but was a wiz on the i-pad. We didn't let her on it much, but she sure loved it. Her favorite apps were Bubble Guppies and Endless Alphabet. I'm 100% positive that she learned her alphabet so young because of Endless Alphabet!
I played along with multiple challenges for this layout. First, I used a sketch from BYSS Facebook group. This was sketch #1 from #BYSSMotivateMeMay2020.
I also played along with CSI File No. 318.
I used the colors in the scheme. For the evidence I used a pattern with illustrated objects (bees), animals (bees), camera (stamp), clock (in embossing paste with stencil), phone (ipad in the photos), polaroid frame, and texture paste. For the testimony I documented about something inanimate (ipad), I wrote directly on my background, and made a list of the apps she was using at that time.
I also played along with The Studio Challenges May Tic Tac Toe challenge. I used the first column: stitching (the banner at the top), texture paste (embossing paste of the clock with a stencil), and ephmera.
Finally, I played along with Paper Issues Alphabet Soup - 26 days of Alphabet inspired challenges #paperissuesabc This was letter "I"; I is for I-pad.
I used all sorts of extra stash. I used paper from Dear Lizzy and Cosmo Cricket as well as scraps from my stash. I used lots of ink and stamps from CTMH, chipboard from Fancy Pants, banner from Crate Paper, and misc. ribbon from my stash.

Happy Memorial Day weekend! Thank you to all of those who have served our country.
I spent the evening scrapping last night. This is a layout of ordering online, picking up groceries, and our "cleaning food" process that we started with the onslaught of Coronavirus. It was something that I wanted to make sure and document.

I am sooooo ready for the weekend. This week has been rough, my mom and I tried to go on a bike-ride and she fell and crushed her wrist in multiple places. With CoVID it's been hard as I can't help her go into the hospital for her appointments or wait with her. Things are very different.
It took me days, but I finally finished this layout of DD when she was just 18 months old dying Easter eggs for the first time.

Hello my scrappy friends!
I have worked most of the day on this layout of really old Easter photos. I love working with really old photos when my DD at was so little. This was Easter at Nana's house.
I played along with Paper Issues May challenge Polka Dot Party. This layout uses polka dot paper at the top, the eggs are polka dot and I used a polka dot stamp set for the journaling at the top.
I used a kit from Paper Wizard and added stamps and ink from CTMH. I actually stayed pretty true to the design for the first time ever, but I did add a bunch more mini photos!

Happy Sunday! It was REALLY muddy and wet on the trail this morning, but we still ended up riding about 5-1/2 miles. Both Juan and Maddie were completely covered in mud, clear up to their helmets.
I spent the rest of the day scrapping.
