Today my mom came over to help me go through my closet. It was rediculously overflowing. I couldn't jam a single hanger more into it. I decided it was a good time for a thorough purge of old and unused clothes. We went through everything and I managed to fill 13 large trash bags with gently used clothes, shoes, and purses for Good Will. It was very freeing and I hope others will get some use from my discards.
I began this blog to document my POTD (picture of the day) for our Project Life album in 2010. In Sept. 2011 I had our first baby and I plan for her to have the most documented life possible. I have continued each year with Project Life, but also have expanded my blog to include layouts and other creations. Life has gotten busy, so I don't post as often as I used to, but am still determined to try. I would love to have you join me on our journey! Thank you for visiting!

12.01.10 Christmas Lights
We finally finished putting up the Christmas lights on our house. I'm still disappointed that the snowman on the roof doesn't light up, but everything else looks good.

11.29.10 Birthday Pineapple
We finally used my birthday coupon for Benihana's tonight. The food was delicious and they brought me a birthday pinapple with a candle on top. They also took our photo.

11.28.10 Christmas Lights
Today we put the Christmas lights up on house. Juan wanted colored lights for the roof this year so we bought new LED lights....did you know you can string like a million of those together on the same circuit? WOW, I was so excited because we usually spend days with tripped circuit breakers and blown fuses because we overload the circuits. Last year Juan bought me a light up parasailing snowman for Christmas, little did we know that it was NOT pre-assembled! It took us over 3 hours to put it together and then once Juan got it on the roof we realized that it did not work. Juan has tried everything and not one light works on the silly thing. I was so disappointed. :(

11.27.10 Christmas Decorations
Today I spent the day putting out our Christmas decorations in the living room. I didn't get everything done, but I did get the mantle completed and my new 12 days of Christmas ornament display up!

The weather forcast for this evening indicates that our first freeze is coming. We moved all of the plants inside to the spare bedroom. There are quite a few.

11.25.10 Thanksgiving Dinner
We have been very blessed this year. Unfortunately our dinner for 13 turned into dinner for 4 as quite a few people cancelled at the last minute; but the food was all delicious, if I do say so myself! It was great to have both my mother and Juan's parents in our home to celebrate. This is the only day of the entire year that we have the chance to cook for our families and that is so very important to me. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone and I hope your families are blessed!
